This laminated beech veneered framed chair is our most comfortable chair, within our extensive collection of church chairs. This chair offers a combination of great value, high quality and the optional keyhole linking device enables these chairs to be coupled together forming a continuous bench style “pew seat”. The waterfall front and deep seat provides extra comfort and support to the back of your legs, this shape also helps to improve circulation when sitting for longer periods. The generous and deep padded back cushion is unique in size and is extremely comfortable whilst offering extra support to your shoulders.
The frame is constructed with mortise & tenon joints for added strength, stability, and durability. This type of joint is decidedly stronger than a dowel joint and has been used for thousands of years to join pieces of wood together. As standard the frame has a clear lacquered finish, or it can be stained to match other items of furniture from within your house of worship.
Optional extras include arms, under seat shelf, linking, back pad book storage, frame staining and the possibility of making the chair 1” or 2” wider.
The optional under seat discreet integral bookshelf built within the frame, affords easy access for book storage. This feature will not hinder or impede the stacking capabilities of the chair.
