Design

These two types of desks have been designed to match Metalliform’s Fully Welded and the Crush Bent Tables, for a consistent look for the classroom. Consistent design is important to help a space look more professional and thought-out and will command respect from anybody who steps in the room as a result.
The desk also contains an integrated pedestal with an option of 2/ 3 drawers to keep personal possessions, confiscated items or test answers for example that cannot be stored in the open. As the drawers are lockable, the contents are kept protected and private, giving teachers and students alike peace of mind. Supplied with two sets of keys per desk.

Another key feature of the desk is the modesty panel. The privacy of the panel also creates an air of authority by creating a barrier between student and teacher, equally encouraging children to pay attention and teachers to confidently communicate.

Construction

Each teacher’s desk is constructed using 18mm thick MDF with a high-pressure laminate finish, there are 18 coloured finishes to choose from. This provides an inexpensive yet durable and smooth surface which makes the table both stylish and functional for teaching. As standard the top has a polished and lacquered MDF bullnosed edge. This is accompanied by the optional Duraform PU edges, there are 5 colours to choose from, famous for their ability to resist chipping and scratching without needing to be re-treated over time. Duraform is applied as a spray that cannot peel off, helping to keep your tables looking good as new even with everyday use.

The 25mm steel square/crush bent tube frame, which has been fully welded to keep the desk intact with frequent use or re-arrangement and eliminates protruding corners that cause accidents in a classroom, these are available from a choice of 12 different coloured finishes.

We like to be transparent and honest about our delivery costs. We could have offered FREE delivery and hidden the cost by hiking our prices, So instead we just ask for a contribution towards our deliveries based on your order value:

Within Mainland UK (below prices are ex VAT)

For delivery to the Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland or countries outside the UK, please contact us.

Return Of Goods

You have 5 working days after receiving your order in full to notify us in a written format that you wish to send the goods back to us for a full refund. Goods can be returned if they are unused, unassembled, in their original packaging and in a resalable condition and If you are unable to arrange a return courier yourself, we can arrange this, but as a cost to you. Please be aware that the cost will be deducted from your final refund.

This does not apply to Made to Order products which may NOT be returned
Items which require self assembly may not be returned if unassembled and in their original packaging.

We reserve the right to charge a minimum handling fee of 35% of the value of the goods for items returned when orders are placed in error or just simply just not wanted. Your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations and Sales Of Goods Act are unaffected by this.
